For Different Occasions, Style your Kurta in a Different Way

It is one of the most versatile pieces of men's clothing because it sits comfortably in the fusion zone. We're talking about men's kurtas, which are no longer considered ethnic wear. There were times when you would only pull out the kurta from your closet to wear to a wedding or a religious function. The kurta pajama then went through a metamorphosis in which the sleeves became tighter, the shoulders became well-fitting, and it was no longer reserved for special occasions. Men wanted to wear it every day, season, and occasion. Women thought men dressed in kurtas looked extremely dapper, and it was back with a vengeance. If you don't believe us, we've compiled a list of the various ways in which the kurta pajama is stealing hearts.

· Kurta with jeans

A khadi knee length kurta or a linen kurta with lounge pants, ckikankari kurta with pants or jeans are just a few ways to style and wear the kurta as an indo-western dress. You can complete the look by wearing your favourite sneakers or even a pair of mojris. If you want to dress it up while remaining casual when attending a friend's haldi or menhdi function, add some embellished buttons to your plain kurta to jazz it up a bit.

· Kurta with a straight pajama

This style, also known as the Aligarhi pyjama, has been popular for many years. This pyjama, which is straight all the way down, looks best with straight and long no-fuss kurtas. Cotton, silk, khadi, tussar, or even dressy brocade or Banarsi silk can be used for these kurtas. Previously, the trend in straight pyjamas was to go for basic colours like white, beige, and black, but the colour palette has now expanded to include navy blue, light grey, and mustard as well.

· Kurta with a jodhpuri salwaar

This type of salwaar balloons out to the knee and then takes on the appearance of a tight-fitting pyjama, similar to a churidar. Because the beauty of this salwaar extends to its upper half, these look great with short dressy kurtas, as you wouldn't want to wear a jodhpuri on a regular day. When it comes to kurtas, pair this salwaar with an embroidered, silk, or brocade kurta.

· Kurta with a churidar

A long silk or cotton kurta looks best with a churidar. However, you can experiment with a high low hemline on this one because the churidar is quite forgiving and goes well with most long kurtas. You should have the churidar made in a fabric that does not slump near your ankle, so cotton or rayon are better options than a polyester blend fabric.

· Kurta with Dhoti salwaar

This is the newest kid on the block. The dhoti salwaar is a loose salwaar that looks like a pre-stitched dhoti when worn. Because you want to highlight the fall of this salwaar with your kurta, keep the kurta to a mid-thigh length. You can even add a jacket to your kurta with a dhoti salwaar to add layers to your look.

· Waterfall kurta

The fall of this men's kurta is reminiscent of a waterfall, and the height is kept at knee level. The pleats begin at the shoulder level on one side and progress to the waist level on the other. It goes well with straight-fit pyjamas or straight-fit pants.
